‘Under the hammer’In certain situations it is appropriate to sell a property via auction. The benefit of selling by auction is that if you receive a satisfactory bid on the day you effectively exchange on that day and generally complete within a month from exchange. Harvey Richards & West we can arrange the sale of property via auction with either a local or national focus. There is a non refundable entry fee and there is then a commission shared payable in the event of a successful sale.
It is important when entering auction to agree on a realistic reserve price below which you will not allow the property to be sold.
